This yoga studio was named after the Sanskrit word Mandala, which means “healing or sacred circle,” Their goal is to create a sacred space where people can find their own center.

We particularly liked that they offer a great value ‘All You Can Yoga’ weekly introductory pass. New students can take as many classes as they wish over 7 consecutive days for just 20euro. Its’a great way to get to know the different teachers and class styles.

While they have a small team of yoga instructors, we believe this doesn’t limit their ability to accommodate multiple clients simultaneously because they host both small and large groups in their spacious facilities.

We also liked how they provide classes for various types of yoga, such as dynamic flow, yin, pregnancy, and workplace yoga.

This, in our opinion, allows them to cater not only to yoga enthusiasts but also to mothers and employees interested in getting into yoga.

It’s also a great convenience that they provide an updated weekly schedule of their classes both in-studio and online, so customers won’t have to call in.

In addition to regular yoga classes the Mandala Yoga studio offers interesting wellness and yoga-related events and workshops every month.

If you’re looking for one of the best yoga studios in Dublin, we think Mandala Yoga Ireland is definitely worth considering.

Ashtanga Yoga Ireland was established and is currently run by Gillian, who is the only level 2 authorized instructor in all of Ireland. She began her studies of Ashtanga yoga in India back in 2005 and has since opened her studio where she teaches.

We definitely think Ashtanga Yoga Ireland is worth checking out because of Gillian’s expertise and experience in the industry.

Whether you’re a complete novice or intermediate student, she has classes and courses catered to your skillset. If you’re up for the commitment, she also offers six-month-long courses for foundational and intensive Ashtanga yoga.

If that’s too long for you, they also have weekend retreats if you’re interested in a deep immersion program at an eco-friendly retreat centre in the west of Ireland.

On top of that, she also offers private one-on-one classes, too. This is a great option if you’re recovering from injuries or need more individual support from the instructor.

Aside from that, she also offers corporate courses, which are great for companies who want to include yoga in their wellness programs. This also offers a number of benefits to the employee’s well-being and productivity.

One of the things we like about how Gillian runs her studio is that her classes are livestreamed via Zoom. We think this is a great convenience for people who can’t make it to the live session.

If you can’t watch it live from home, they also have recordings that you can access and follow at your own pace, too.

Oh, another thing worth mentioning is that they’re open daily. We think this is quite convenient if you want to squeeze in a relaxing yoga session after a stressful day.

Pros

  • Open daily
  • Expert instructor
  • Course sessions will be livestreamed and recorded
  • Offers private and corporate courses
  • Offers weekend retreats

Cons

  • Pricey

Best yoga teacher in Ireland

“I’m originally from India, I have been taught in the past by the best yoga teachers in Bangalore. It’s been 3 months since I’ve joined the Ashtanga practice under Gillian Mooney who is by far the best Yoga teacher in Ireland. She’s an excellent teacher and I feel like I’m in India when I attend her classes four days a week. Her way of teaching yoga is definitely the right way with grace, assurance and self awareness. I feel alive…mind, body and soul. It’s an absolutely beautiful experience and I love the discipline. Above all it is so important to have a fabulous teacher on every count.” – Tripthi Rodrigues

Very highly recommended

“Ashtanga Yoga Ireland is a great studio to learn yoga. All are welcome regardless of experience. I’ve never been intimidated by those who are more advanced than myself, only inspired. Those who are beginners are at ease with Gillian’s and her team’s guidance. Gillian is very dedicated teacher and has deep knowledge of ashtanga yoga. There’s lots of individual attention and Gillian’s adjustments are intuitive and really take you deeper without causing strain. Very highly recommended!” – Maris V.

With five locations in Dublin, Yogahub offers a variety of yoga and Pilates classes suitable for all levels. Zeroing in on their yoga classes, they offer Flow, Hot, Slow, and Yin.

If you’re a complete beginner, Slow Yoga is best for anyone looking for a low-impact introductory class. If you’re looking to sweat, you may want to consider their Hot Yoga where poses will be held for a longer period in a hot room, which definitely makes it more challenging.

On the flip side, if you seek a more relaxing session, you may want to consider Yin Yoga, as it incorporates a ton of passive stretching and lengthening moves.

Their Flow Yoga, on the other hand, involves a quicker pace since it comprises energetic movements. Even so, it’s suitable for people of all skill levels.

Aside from yoga, they also offer meditation, breath work, and Pilates. Hence, we think that it’s pretty convenient that Yogahub hosts all these classes under one roof.

Plus, their membership plans are accessible at all five of their branches across Dublin. This way, we don’t think location accessibility will pose an issue at all.

In case you can’t make it to their studio, they also offer online classes. You can join their livestream classes from the comforts of your home.

Did we mention that newbies can receive a free class and discounts? All you need to do is to sign up through their website.

We definitely recommend taking them up on this offer to see for yourself if their studio is for you. This little bonus is definitely getting brownie points in our book!

Oh, they also have an online shop where they sell eco-friendly and ethical mats, sustainable yoga wear, yoga accessories, and more.

Pros

  • Free classes and discounts for newbies
  • Five studios in Dublin
  • Offers meditation, breath work, and Pilates
  • Offers workshops
  • Sells merchandise

Cons

  • Short hours on weekends

“I have been practicing at YogaHub for four years and the teachers are excellent. Each one has a distinctive style and personality, which I have enjoyed getting to know through their classes. It’s an open and welcoming place for people of all levels of ability, including mine, with a range of styles. I have practiced Flow, Hot and Yin and there is also Pilates, Reformer and more. It’s about you not what the other person is doing. I’ve never regretted doing a yoga class. Get in!” – Willie White

For the past eight years, 360 Hot Yoga has continued to be a local favourite for their wide variety of yoga classes. Whether you’re looking for a challenging class or a parent and baby session, they have a ton of options to choose from.

One of their classes that caught our eye is their Parent and Baby Massage. Here, parents are taught how to help infants to one-year-old babies how to relax through a holistic massage.

If you’re up for it, you may want to check out their Vinyasa Yoga. You’ll be taught poses at a heated room which will gradually become more challenging as you continue to practice.

For beginners, they recommend their Absolute Hot Yoga and Yin Yoga. These increase mobility and circulation all while keeping your mind and body engaged.

Aside from yoga, they also offer power Pilates, a more intense version of regular Pilates. Here, you’re really going to feel the burn in your core as you exercise with varying accessories and weights.

As for their schedule, they’re open daily. They’re open as late as 9 PM on weekdays, too.

However, keep in mind that their business hours vary, which may be a bit confusing for some. So, you’ll want to check twice to ensure that you’ve got the right schedule.

Hence, we think they’re a good choice if you’re looking to let out some steam after a long day. You can easily book an appointment via their website where you’ll get to see their class schedules, instructor, and so on.

Oh, we also wanted to mention that their instructors are known to accommodate students of varying skill levels. Hence, if things get a little too difficult, your instructor will be more than willing to help you out.

Clients that we’ve spoken to also emphasized the friendly and motivating atmosphere. We think this nurturing environment definitely deserves plus points from us!
