Staying at Belmore Court & Motel felt like a real travel win for us. From the moment we pulled into the car park (free parking is always a plus), things went smoothly. Check-in was fast and friendly, and we felt welcome right away.
Our room was a nice surprise. It was bright, very clean, and bigger than we expected. The bed looked so comfy and inviting, and the shower had great pressure, which always feels like a tiny victory on a trip.
Breakfast the next morning was just what we needed—plenty of choices, and the coffee was strong enough to wake us up properly. Just note that there’s no on-site restaurant here.
What stayed with us most was the atmosphere. It was warm, simple, and welcoming. The staff felt more like friendly neighbours than hotel workers.
The price also felt fair, especially for a place so close to town. You get good value here without paying hotel-style rates. The bonus? The location made it easy to walk around Enniskillen, but the place still felt peaceful and quiet.

If you’re heading to Enniskillen and want a stay that’s easy, comfortable, and good value, The Enniskillen Hotel is a great choice. It’s just off the A32 and only a short walk from the castle, museums, shops, and pubs, so exploring the town doesn’t require heroic levels of effort.
Inside, the room was modern, cosy, and had a bed so soft I briefly considered cancelling the rest of my plans. Free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a spotless bathroom made settling in very easy.
If you’re on a tighter budget, some rooms are simpler but still clean and comfy. Meanwhile, the staff were genuinely lovely. They’re the kind to remember your name and not judge your third trip to the breakfast buffet.
Speaking of food, the on-site restaurant serves large portions that could easily defeat a grown adult (ask me how I know).
There’s an occasional squeaky floorboard, and the décor might be a bit dated for some, but overall, this hotel is a win in our books.
A great, relaxing stay
“Just back from a 2 night getaway in the hotel. We had a lovely clean double room. Free parking and WiFi. The staff were friendly and helpful. Booked in for food on the sat evening. The food was amazing. Both had steaks and they were cooked to perfection. A really great relaxing stay. Will go back again.”

Price-wise, it’s a five-star resort, so it’s not cheap. The servings at the fine dining restaurant may be too small for some. Overall, most people may still feel the stay is worth it due to the views, comfort, and top-notch service.

Manor House Country Hotel, set right on the shores of Lough Erne, is a great choice for those looking for a quiet escape with great food, comfy rooms, and postcard views.
The moment we arrived, we knew we could slow down and breathe. There are plenty of ways to relax: take a stroll by the water, relax in the spa, or enjoy a cosy meal without feeling like you’re on a tight schedule
It’s close enough to Enniskillen for quick runs into town, but far enough that you still get that “away from it all” feeling. Plus, there’s plenty of free parking (which is always a win).
Inside, the rooms are bright, spotless, and very comfortable. My bed was so soft I briefly considered taking it home. The Wi-Fi worked without drama, and the view from the room looked like it belonged on a travel brochure.
The staff were warm and welcoming, and they had that easy, natural friendliness that made our stay even better.
It’s not the cheapest spot, and snacks and drinks can add up. However, the place, the comfort, and the service make it feel worth the treat.
Great experience at the junior suite
“We had a two night stay in a junior suite and everything was perfect. The view from our room was wonderful. The reception team is very efficient and helpful. The food in the Cellar Bar was top notch. Breakfast was very tasty and the staff very attentive. I look forward to returning soon.”
– Sajmcmaw, Tripadvisor Review

For a stay that feels warm, lively, and just a little bit old-school in the best way, Mahon’s Hotel in Irvinestown is a great pick.
It’s been around since 1883, and you can feel that history the moment you walk in, like visiting a relative’s house where everyone actually likes each other.
The location is great too. It’s right off the A32, perfect if you’re popping over to Castle Archdale Forest, Enniskillen Castle, or wandering around Lough Erne.
Inside, the rooms are simple, roomy, and clean, with bathrooms that don’t feel haunted for a place that’s been around for a very long time. That said, some areas feel dated.
And if you’re travelling with a dog, even better—your furry sidekick gets the same warm welcome you do. We loved the friendly service, which is great, and the owner himself greets guests with a smile and a chat.
The bar and restaurant keep things fun while serving big portions, hearty Irish food, and weekend live music. Sure, a few corners of the hotel could use a modern touch, but with all the comfort and value you get, it’s hard to complain.
A superb hotel with great location and excellent service
“A superb hotel. It simply ticks every box and has that ‘happy’ feeling. The staff are excellent and there’s nothing they can’t do for you, rooms are spacious and clean, food is brilliant and well priced. Nicely located in the town and within easy reach of everything.”
– Paddy Tyson, Google Review
Lovely hotel with thoughtful, caring staff
“It was a last minute booking with a late check in and everyone was so helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. The room and food are lovely. The receptionist was so kind, checking in on me the next morning before I left as she knew I had a long journey with icy roads. I would definitely recommend it. Lovely hotel.”
