There are office chairs that can’t be reclined at all. It’s one of the cheapest you will find in the market, for obvious reasons.

- Centre tilt tilts the backrest but lifts off your feet from the floor.
- Synchro tilt tilts the backrest but keeps your feet level to the floor.
- Weight-sensitive tilt adjusts the backrest depending on the weight of the person sitting down. It doesn’t need a locking function—the chair will do it for you.
3. Upholstery
Your skin will be in contact mostly with the upholstery, so you’ll have to pay attention to this too.
- Fabric is what’s commonly used in office chairs.
The double rub count measures how durable a fabric is. The higher the count, the more durable (and expensive) it is.
- Leather is often used in high-end office chairs.

It’s a little out of reach, to be honest. And if you’re like the rest of us who don’t want to fork thousands of euros for a chair, ALTON is a practical alternative.

The seat slide and lumbar pump allow you to change the shape of the backrest to specifically fit yours.

We like shopping (who doesn’t, right?). But we don’t like going outside lately for fear of catching the virus.
