What we love about Twenty Two Night Club the most is the variety. If you’re looking for different types of entertainment, this is the first place you should go!

For one, we love that the nightclub has themed nights. It means you won’t get to experience the same things again and again because they provide different types of entertainment.

We love that there are nights when a DJ plays the music and you can just dance around until your feet ache. There are also nights when you can sit around and relax while watching performers do the dancing and singing for you–how fun is that?

Another thing we love is that the club serves actual food, so in case you get hungry from all the dancing, you can order food to satisfy your hunger. They also have a huge selection of drinks—from beer to cocktails—so that’s another good reason to visit!

We also appreciate the crowd because you can feel that people who go here just really want to enjoy the music! The atmosphere is nice and the staff and baristas are friendly as well.

Price can be a little expensive for some as well. However, if you want to have a fun night, we think it’s worth the little splurge.

Just a little warning though that sometimes, the staff forgets to serve the drinks you order, which can be a bit bothersome. Also, make sure to arrive on time for your reservations because you might be refused entry if you arrive late.

Pros

  • Themed nights
  • Good music courtesy of a live band or a DJ
  • Great lighting
  • Great crowd
  • Friendly staff
  • Great selection of drinks
  • Amazing performers
  • Serves good food

Cons

  • Some staff forget to serve the drinks
  • Might refuse you entry if you arrive late
  • Only open on Fridays and Saturdays

Customer Reviews

Great crowd

Definitely one of Dublin’s best nightclubs. We’ve run events here this year and it’s always a great crowd who come for the music. The sound is great, plenty of dancefloor space as well as comfortable seating. The club definitely put plenty of effort into the overall production – great sound, lighting, CO2 cannons and entertainers etc to ensure a fantastic night out! Shame to see some negative comments here about the club’s security staff as my experience with them has only been positive. Can’t wait to return next year!— Michael Boland, Google Reviews

Fun crowd

Went out Friday night with my sister and her friend. It was my first time in the club and I found it brilliant.  The staff were all very lovely and accommodating, music was brilliant. A superb mix of cultures and people. Never noticed a bad vibe from anyone the whole night. The staff were friendly, drinks were good. Security was absolutely amazing. Take their job seriously and are very good at what they do. 5/5 recommend going for sure.— Stevi Beach, Google Reviews

In terms of music selection, we recommend Copper Face Jacks. We love that the nightclub plays the music of different generations, so whether you’re Gen Z, Gen Z, or a Millennial, this is one of the best nightclubs in Dublin for you to try!

DJs play good music, and there are also times when a live band is present, making the experience better. The crowd is always fun and dances to whatever music is playing.

Copper Face Jacks is also known for its amazing lighting, by the way. So dancing the night away on that quirky dance floor is one for the books!

The staff are friendly as well as the baristas. We appreciate that they’re always attentive to guests.

We think you’ll also appreciate that the prices for drinks are reasonable. However, there are limited choices, which can be a little disappointing.

One of the best things about the club—there are sections for smokers and non-smokers. So if you’re a smoker, you don’t have to go out just to smoke so you won’t bother the non-smokers.

The only aspect where the club isn’t doing well is on the part of the bouncers. Some of the patrons complained about the bouncers refusing to give them easy entry when they only wanted to enjoy themselves.

Pros

  • State-of-the-art lighting
  • Provides live music
  • Great DJs
  • Wide range of music for all ages
  • Open seven days a week
  • Friendly atmosphere
  • Has sections for smokers and non-smokers
  • Reasonable prices for drinks

Cons

  • Very strict bouncers
  • Limited drink options

Customer Reviews

Has sections for smokers and non-smokers

Possibly the best nightclub in Dublin, that I have been to. The staff is very courteous, the crowd was really good and friendly. The prices are also reasonable, however, the options were very limited. The place comes to life after 12! It gets packed with people, despite being so vast. The music was also really good ! The best part is that they have created a different section for smokers and non-smokers! So smokers don’t have to go out again and again and non-smokers don’t have to bear them :)o—Darragh Gallagher, Google Reviews

Plays various music genres

Absolutely love copper face jacks or for short coppers! It has a wide range of music for all ages. From R&B to new dance hits and of course, a bit of ABBA who doesn’t love abba. Go dressy or casual up to you as a mix of all but me and all the girls love it every Friday and Saturday. Coppers will definitely be in our 12 pubs this coming Christmas, but couldn’t recommend it enough affordable drinks. Friendly staff. And the best Photo Booth.—Lena Baldock, Google Reviews

When we asked some of the regular patrons of Dicey’s Garden Club about what they love about the nightclub, they all answered the same things: the dance floor. It’s spacious and well-lit, letting you dance all night without feeling claustrophobic.

In addition to this, they also loved the music being played in the nightclub. Whether you’re into techno, modern, Latin, or reggae, you’ll appreciate the mixes being played all night.

And just in case you get hungry, you don’t have to worry since Dicey’s serves great food! And to add to that, it has a great selection of beers which you can pair with your food.

Another thing we love about the nightclub is that it has themed nights as well. Some patrons told us their appreciate the Pride Day celebration because it feels inclusive, and it allows them to feel at ease bringing friends from the community.

The staff are friendly as well, most especially the bartenders. You don’t have to spend a lot as well because drinks can be really cheap.

Just one thing though—we understand the need for bouncers to be strict, most especially because they’re the ones who deal with drunken and disrespectful patrons. But we hope they can treat customers who just want to have a good time better.

In addition to this, we also recommend the nightclub’s security to be more attentive to what’s happening around them. There haven’t been serious incidents according to some patrons, but we’d all love to go to a club wherein safety of the patrons is a priority.

Pros

  • Themed nights
  • Great beer selection
  • Amazing bartenders
  • Serves delicious food
  • Lit dance floor
  • Has themed nights
  • Good value for money

Cons

  • Long lines
  • Not-so-friendly bouncers

Customer Reviews

Great beer selection

Great beer selection (Guiness, Cider, Pale, IPAs), at decent prices (€3-4 a piece for a pint), good service, but hide your coats from the guards. And remember to book online for €1.35 and enter before 19:00, to avoid all the expensive and messy lines. We enjoyed a Brazilian, and a generic European night, the first one being better, of course, since european club music is plagued by repeating the same two beats that lack any substance. What can you do?—Sam Jecinque, Google Reviews

Reasonable prices

I’ve done here my best party adventure, cheap drinks, cheap entrance when you come before 9pm. The music is great and the people are happy and cool!.—Glups, Google Reviews

Hear us out—D Two is one of those nightclubs wherein you’ll get the best of both worlds. When we say both worlds, we meant going out to chill with friends and going out to have fun with friends!

D Two has two levels—a nightclub on the first floor where you can dance all night on its spacious dance floor. The one at the second level is more of a sit-in bar with slightly softer music, perfect for just a relaxing evening with your companions.

According to the club’s patrons, it’s exactly what turned them into regulars. There are times when they just want to chill, but there are also times they want to party—and they can get either if they go to D Two!

Another thing, D Two actually has polite and friendly bouncers. We love that they’re doing their jobs while still treating the customers nicely.

The toilets are spacious and clean as well, which is pretty much makes us happy! You can also see staff regularly mopping the floor and wiping tables without interfering with the people dancing.

The club has a huge selection of drinks as well which is one of its best features, but they can be expensive. Entrance fees have complimentary drinks, but sometimes the staff forget to serve them so you have to follow up and remind them.

Pros

  • Has a bar and a nightclub
  • Bar is perfect for chillin’ with friends
  • Spacious dancefloor
  • Great selection of drinks
  • Has an indoor garden
  • Heated outdoor section
  • Polite and nice bouncers
  • Clean and spacious toilets

Cons

  • Staff forgets to serve the complimentary drink
  • Overpriced drinks

A perfect chill spot with friends

One of the best Pubs to actually hear people and have conversations in Dublin. The music level is decent compared to many other places. Something I really struggled with until I found about D Two. Plus it’s very spacious and has an indoor garden.—Miles D, Google Reviews

Has a bar and a nightclub

Very good venue for clubbing. Multileveled, few bars, heated outdoor section and loads of dancefloor is ideal if you go to clubs to dance rather than sit & talk (but you will also find some seats here and there)—Maciej Kłosiński, Google Reviews

The Grand Social is the perfect nightclub for those who appreciate all types of music. What we love the most about, and some patrons agree with us, is that it hosts unique bands which allows us to discover new music we might love!

In addition to this, we love that there’s so much space for the live band as well as people who want to dance. It’s giving people a chance to move around without disturbing other customers.

Another thing we love about The Grand Social is the rooftop beer garden. It’s a good place to chill or have conversations if you want to take a break from the live music and dancing.

We also love that there’s a designated smoking area, preventing those who smoke to bother those who don’t. The place is lean and well-maintained as well, which is a good thing.

We think you’ll also love the fact that The Grand Social has a wide selection of drinks. Whether you’re craving for a pint of Guinness or glass of wine, this nightclub has it!

The only thing that we kind of don’t like is that the venue tends to get sweltering hot, and it can be pretty inconvenient most especially during the nights that it’s crowded. Also, a bottle of water’s really expensive, which might surprise you!

Pros

  • Good venue for gigs
  • Great music
  • Wide selection of drinks
  • Smoking area
  • Spacious
  • Prime location
  • Invites unique bands
  • Has a rooftop beer garden

Plenty of space to move around

I went to the Cruchan gig here. A nice bar. They do a good pint of Guinness! There is smoking areas as well. Upstairs there is lots of space for a gig. It’s good that you can move around. There is an outside area too. They also have a good range of drink at the bar!—Liz Tyrell, Google Reviews

Cool venue, but can get really hot

Really cool place that is deceptively big. However the venue where we watched Chelsea Grin was quite small in comparison. And so incredibly hot. They have aircons installed but good lord, it really does get very stuffy and sweaty in there when the bands get going. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would give five stars for better air circulation.—Bronwyn Whyte, Google Reviews
