Optical Express has clinics all over Ireland and the United Kingdom. Despite this, do take note that not all branches can accommodate all services in their lineup.

For instance, their Cork clinic doesn’t offer lens replacement surgeries—a major drawback for those who would’ve preferred this mode of treatment. That said, you can also head over to their other branches in Dublin for this treatment, for instance.

Still, we highly recommend checking your options at their Cork clinic, as they offer free consultations, too. It’s quite a comprehensive process that takes about 90 minutes, so make sure to plan your consultation ahead of time.

After-care services are also available to all patients, which includes post-surgery appointments and an annual eye examination. Unfortunately, this doesn’t cover eye enhancement procedures.

Customer Reviews

See what some of their past clients have to say about them:

“I recently had a cataract removed by Mr Golchin. The experience, from start to finish of the procedure, was calm, reassuring and a success. Not only is Mr Golchin an excellent surgeon but also an active listener with excellent communication skills. On any of my visits to his clinic he encouraged questions, listened attentively and continued to reassure me. This was very important as I was extremely nervous about the whole procedure. Mr Golchin performed an outstanding surgery. I had absolutely no pain or irritation, 20/20 vision now in both eyes and feeling 10 years younger. What more can you ask of an excellent surgeon.” —Rose Donnery, Website Testimonials

“It is a great Clinic everyone is very nice there. I had my eyes done and they didnt no what to do for me as they are very nice. I was there this morning. They talk to you and explain everything to you. It is the place to go.” —Joan Driscoll, Facebook
