5 Best Event Planners in Cork to Pull It All Together

My sister’s already found a gorgeous wedding venue, which means we’ve moved on to the next challenge: making sure the day actually runs smoothly. Pretty flowers and a lovely room only get you so far.

Between suppliers, timings, music, food, and fifty tiny details no one warns you about, things can get hectic fast. That’s where the best event planner in Cork can be worth their weight in gold.

A good planner keeps the moving parts under control so the family can enjoy the day instead of chasing vendors. We looked for Cork organisers who can turn big ideas into celebrations that feel polished, personal, and far less stressful.

How much does it cost to hire an event planner in Cork?

Hiring an event planner in Cork can cost anywhere from about €450 to €10,000+. The final price depends on how much help you need and how elaborate the event is.

Day-of coordination usually starts at €450 and can reach €1,250+. Partial planning often falls between €1,500 and €3,500.

Full-service planning typically costs around €2,000 to €4,500. Bespoke or luxury events can climb to €6,000 to €10,000+.

For smaller jobs, some planners charge by the hour. Expect roughly €50 to €150 per hour.

How We Reviewed

Industry Experience: We favoured teams that know Cork events inside out. A seasoned planner’s less likely to flap when something goes sideways.
Service Variety: We checked who covers weddings, corporate events, and family celebrations. More flexibility means you can book the help you actually need.
Production Capabilities: We looked for planners who can handle staging, lighting, and entertainment too. Fewer outside suppliers usually means fewer crossed wires.
Pricing Transparency: We checked how clearly packages, deposits, and quotes are explained. Nobody wants a nasty surprise when the final bill lands.

1. The Event Hub

Address: Unit 15D, Euro Business Park, Little Island

Contact: 087 602 1798 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Friday, 10 AM – 5:30 PM

The Event Hub is the sort of team I’d want involved once the wedding planning starts breeding spreadsheets.

They handle everything from event management to staging, lighting, and even audiovisual setup. They can also help coordinate DJs, bands, and plenty more.

That’s a big plus if you’d rather not spend evenings chasing five different suppliers for one party.

They work across weddings, corporate events, and even larger productions.

Custom quotes are often sent within 24 hours too, which is handy when decisions need making before the family WhatsApp goes feral.

The snag is that their office closes at weekends. If Saturday is your only free planning day, you may need to get organised during the week instead.

Pros

  • Wide range of planning and production services
  • Handles staging, lighting, AV, DJs, and bands
  • Suitable for weddings, parties, and corporate events
  • Custom quotes available within 24 hours

Cons

  • Office closed on Saturdays and Sundays

2. To Have and To Hold

Hours: Tuesday-Friday, 10 AM – 5 PM | Saturday, noon – 5 PM | Sunday by appointment

To Have and To Hold feels especially handy if you’re planning an Irish wedding from abroad and don’t fancy managing everything over endless emails.

They’ve got more than eight years of destination wedding experience, which gives them a solid handle on the practical side of things.

Their planning covers supplier sourcing, décor, venue coordination, ceremony details, and day management. They can step in for the full process or simply help keep the big day from turning into organised chaos.

I like that they can handle styling as well as logistics, because fewer moving parts usually means fewer headaches. They plan private parties and other events too, so weddings aren’t their only trick.

The main catch is that their event-planning services are more focused on weddings. Corporate and private events are handled under a broader event-management service.

Pros

  • Over eight years of destination wedding experience
  • Handles supplier sourcing, styling, and day management
  • Particularly useful for couples planning from abroad
  • Can manage both logistics and event décor
  • Plans private parties and other events too

Cons

  • Heavily focused on wedding services

Garden Wedding Planning From Abroad

We used Sandra from To Have and to Hold for a wedding on June 21st in our garden in Cork. Everything went incredibly well throughout the day, and the event was a great success. We live abroad, and to have someone in our home town organising everything for us while we were on the other side of the world gave us so much comfort. We highly recommend the team at To have and To hold. Sandra was amazing.

Wedding Flowers and Event Styling

Sandra and the team at To have and to hold completed my wedding flowers in September. We had two days of events. On the first day, we had a family meal at home; she came and decorated my home with beautiful layouts, flowers and table settings. I was blown away. My wedding flowers were out of this world. From ceremony displays to bouquets, corsages, etc. I love the little details she added to the different parts of my day. Highly recommended for event planning.

3. The Art and Romance

Address: The Garnish, Lancaster Gate, Centre

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

The Art and Romance feels made for couples who want the day to look every bit as good as it feels. Founder Gabi leads the creative direction, blending clean modern styling with natural materials and a strong sense of place.

Their team handles both the pretty bits and the practical ones, from venue and supplier sourcing to timelines and overall design.

They work on weddings, private celebrations, and brand events, including destination occasions further afield.

I like that the visual concept and logistics sit under one roof, because that usually means fewer crossed wires. Their work has even been featured in Vogue and Brides, which gives you a fair idea of the level they’re aiming for.

The catch is that their positioning leans firmly high-end. If you’re planning something very simple or budget-first, they may be more polished than you actually need.

Pros

  • Strong luxury and destination-event expertise
  • Founder-led creative direction
  • Handles both styling and practical coordination
  • Covers weddings, private events, and brand experiences
  • Featured in Vogue and Brides

Cons

  • Strongly geared towards high-end events
  • May not suit simple, budget-first celebrations

4. Occasions Events Management

Website

Address: Occasions, Douglas, Cork, Ireland

Contact: [email protected] | +353 (0)21 4961000

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:15 AM – 1 PM, 2 PM – 5:15 PM

Occasions Events Management looks like a strong fit when the guest list starts getting serious.

They’ve been in the business for over 30 years and bring that experience to corporate events, team-building days, Christmas parties, weddings, and private functions.

I like that they can take an event from the first idea right through to delivery. Planning, entertainment, and production support all sit within the same wider service, which should make coordination a bit less of a headache.

Their client list includes big names such as Apple, Facebook, Gilead, and GSK, so they’re clearly comfortable with larger briefs.

Being a family-owned Cork company gives the whole setup a nice local grounding too.

The only catch is that their public-facing services lean heavily towards corporate and seasonal events.

Couples after a very wedding-focused planner may prefer someone whose packages are built more specifically around intimate ceremonies.

Pros

  • Over 30 years of event management experience
  • Family-owned Cork company
  • Handles corporate events, weddings, and private functions
  • Offers planning, entertainment, and production support
  • Strong corporate client roster

Cons

  • Lean heavily towards corporate events

5. Celebs Entertainment

Website

Address: 15D, Euro Business Pk Ballytrasna, Little Island

Contact: 086 206 5104 | [email protected] | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Celebs Entertainment feels like the team to call when a work event needs more spark than a few speeches and a buffet. They’ve been creating events since 1996, with a strong focus on corporate experiences across Ireland.

Their Event Architects approach mixes creative ideas with the practical graft of venue sourcing, supplier coordination, and live delivery.

Site visits, floor plans, and bespoke branded elements can all form part of the planning too.

I like that they think beyond the basic running order and consider how the space actually feels. Team-building days, summer parties, gala dinners, and staff events are clearly their bread and butter.

The catch is that their core offering is very corporate and experience-led. If you’re after full wedding planning, a dedicated wedding specialist may be a better fit.

Pros

  • Creating events since 1996
  • Strong corporate and team-building expertise
  • Handles venue sourcing and supplier coordination
  • Can provide site visits and floor plans
  • Offers bespoke branded event elements

Cons

  • Services are heavily corporate-focused
  • Less suited to couples wanting full wedding planning

Seamless Corporate Party Coordination

Another great partnership with Celebs Entertainment, this time for our end-of-year party. The floating magician and the Las Vegas Casino event were a howl. The dealers were great characters and put on a really pro performance. The plan was developed early on, and with a previous partnership under our belt, we had complete confidence in their set-up /tear down coordination arrangements with the venue. They are great to work with, reliable, accessible and operate with seamless coordination. Happy Christmas from Proofpoint Cork
