Our favorite feature is that they’re splinter-free which makes them a good option if you’re barefoot often or have some youngins.
Speaking of children, their decks are also slip-resistant which makes them a nice option for the summertime if you’ll be having tons of watery activities.
Furthermore, they also have a selection of finishes such as wood grain effect, sanded, or grooved. These are available in 5 colors you can mix and match according to your liking.

Their decks start at €42, but they didn’t specify the size which we think is a bit of a flop. You’ll have to inquire to clarify which we find a bit inconvenient.
On the other hand, you can choose among 4 colors, which isn’t much but at least you have some options. However, we were a bit disappointed since they only had 2 finish options: grooved and woodgrain.
This limited selection may be a dealbreaker for some who have a specific vision in mind for their decks.
On a brighter note, they have an online shop so if you’re planning on DIY-ing it, you can have the materials delivered directly to you at a fixed fee.
We like that their payment methods are powered by Stripe so you can easily pay on their website after checking out.

We really that their formula gives their decks a natural wood-like look and feel to them. This makes them a great choice if you prefer wood-like decks without the hassle of upkeep.
On top of that, their Portland and UltraShield selections have warranties of 10 and 25 years respectively, which is definitely music to our ears!
But here’s the hitch: their Portland selection only has 3 variants which is a bit limiting. Even so, they do come in a multitude of colors and finishes.
We also like their digital brochure that explains the composition, sizing, finishes, and selections. We think this little “extra” makes it a lot easier to browse through their collection.
However, if you’d rather view them in person, they also have a showroom that you can book to give you an idea of how they style their decks with their other products.

With that said, Abwood may be more palatable for people who aren’t very picky with the design of their composite decks.
We think it’s important to highlight that their decks are virtually maintenance-free, which we definitely have heart eyes for!
On top of that, they’re also resistant to salt and chlorinated water as well as moisture which makes them a good choice if your decks will get wet often.
Their measurements and prices are available on their website. On the other hand, it would’ve been much better if they had an online shop to make the transaction process smoother.
On a brighter note, if you’re unsure of how many decks you’ll need, you can easily phone them your measurements and they’ll give you an estimate and a quotation for free.
