If your kid is looking for an active and action filled afternoon amongst friends, Pallas Karting, Paintball and Splatball may be just the facility you’re looking for. With their impressive space and equipment, we highly suggest checking them out.
Pallas Karting, Paintball and Splatball has over 30 years of experience and on top of this, has the longest karting track in Europe.
What we really like about it is that their facilities have a large and roomy outdoor space for all of their offerings. Aside from their track, even their paintball field’s atmosphere adds an element of engagement and excitement for its players.
We do however recommend checking out their terms and conditions before visiting as there are some restrictions for certain age brackets.
For example, pre-booking is essential for all sessions and the beginner’s tracks have a minimum age requirement of 10 years old. However, we do appreciate that they are very thorough and detailed with all of the precautions they take.
The staff makes sure to brief everyone beforehand as well as providing suitable attire and equipment for the activities.

All in all, if your kid is looking for a fun, exciting and hands on activity, we highly recommend checking them out.

One of the best places out there for unique and enjoyable outdoor activities, Wildlands is definitely one of the top picks for us when it comes to the whole package.
They have over 20 acres of space that accommodates all different types of distinct packages, including both outdoor land and water activities. It’s an excellent choice if your kids are really into more active play as well as a nice little retreat.
What we really appreciate is that they do have both of these options so regardless of the weather forecast that day, the kids can still be engaged with facilities like their indoor role play village.
It’s easy to see why Wildlands is a popular spot for groups out there but this does present a challenge in terms of availability. They only accept pre-booked customers, so we highly suggest booking in advance.
In addition to this, keep in mind that they do charge a non-refundable payment as well. So be wary of any cancellations you may have to make.
Looking specifically at the activities, we really like that each is distinct and makes full use of the outdoor and indoor area. From kayaking to a zip and trek course to learning wildness survival skills, there’s something for everyone.

So Much for the Family to Do
If I could give more than five stars I would! The staff were super friendly, the facilities were immaculate, the restaurant served remarkable food and the decor tied into the woodland theme. There is so much for the family to do! ( You could make a weekend of it.) Special thanks to Sean for the recommendations and Connor at the zip line who was incredible. Not only with the children, giving them confidence on the climbing apparatus but also to a very nervous adult with a acrophobia. A day to remember! – Claudette Koen
A Myriad of Things to Do
With over 20 acres of mature woodland overlooking Ballyquirke Lough in Moycullen, Co. Galway and nestled along the Wild Atlantic Way, at the gateway to Connemara. With a myriad of indoor and outdoor activities, they have entertainment whatever the weather and whatever your desire, as Wildlands is a place for all ages, for thrill-seekers and for those in the pursuit of serenity. Suitable for any age from 1 to 100. The restaurant is just fabulous I could eat there all day. Can’t wait for our next adventure 👍 -iNora.G Burkei

Loughwell Farm Park is a definite must for families looking to have a fun time both indoors and outdoors. This place has expansive and kid friendly facilities.
They are a family established facility, with Loughwell Farm Park opening in 2010. However, the Lydon family have worked the land for farming for over 100 years.
This is probably the reason why the space is very large, allowing it to accommodate all sorts of activities.
We really like the amount of variety they have in terms of outdoor activities. From their large outdoor sand pits, to mini golf courses and even a barrel train, the facilities they have are a lot of fun and not typically found in other centres.
What’s more is that they have activities that can accommodate older individuals like their mega slides or guided fairy walk. We also really appreciate that the farm is wheelchair accessible.
We do, however, want to disclose that their tickets are non-refundable, so be sure of the date and schedule you choose.
They do also have indoor activities as well as a place to get food called the Elderflower restaurant. It really makes a day trip here both convenient and flexible, no matter the weather and length of stay.
If you’re looking for an activity centre that is perfect for kids who have different preferences, we highly suggest checking out Loughwell Farm Park.

Had a Great Day
Spent the day here with 2 boys aged 10 &14. We had a great day. Plenty to do. Boys enjoyed the sand pits, bubble show, swings and penalty shoot out. We had a picnic here so can’t comment on the food. The tube by go karts would make a great slide if placed on slightly raised ground. Animals are well cared for and friendly. Plenty parking. Toilet clean. – Debby Murphy
Excellent Staff
Nice place mostly for younger (<10yrs) kids. It has a wide variety of different scheduled programs and activities. The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic, the place is clean and well maintained. Highly suggested. – Támas Kozma

A more unique offering out there is JumpLanes Galway, which is the perfect choice for kids who are very active.
Comparatively, while this centre has less types of activities to choose from, we will give it points for being a more distinct offering. This is a great place to visit especially on weekdays as it is less busy.
On the weekends, they’re often hosting events like birthday parties. It’s a great place to visit for group activities as they accommodate gatherings like school tours as well as hen and stag parties.
Additionally, they have food available with certain packages, making hosting a party here more convenient.
In terms of their activities, their main attraction is, of course, their trampoline area. But what we like is that they offer classes that can accommodate 1 adult for free with their child.

Entertaining for the Children
Good experience. Young, but very friendly staff, seem to really like what they’re doing: the lad hosting our party was just brilliant, didn’t stop entertaining the children for the whole time they were on the jumping lanes. Party prices are a little expense, could be keener for the time spent there – being nice giving the 5 stars on this occasion. It’s an old building but extremely well kept, very clean so can’t fault on that. Would definitely go again but maybe just for the 1 hour jump, much cheaper option if it’s not an occasion. – Terri Loyld
Younger Ones had a Blast
Good fun but with No frills, bells or whistles! (air bag or foam pit!) Just does exactly what they say on Facebook – huge open lanes of trampolines, and loads of them! The younger ones had blast but our older teen got bored in half the time, moved to the arcade games after about 40 minutes. Still, it’s a good idea, different and worth a try. Could do with adding more activities, they’ve got the room, especially outside. – CeCe Kasidy

Customer Reviews
Here are some reviews from their clients:
“What an amazing venue / hideaway. We had our wedding here in June and the day was perfect. All our guests were completely blown away. Jenny and the team were so attentive they really couldn’t do enough for us. You would not think you were in the middle of Ireland. We visited several times before the wedding for food, coffee or just a walk. We had exclusive access to the venue and most of our guests stayed the the night, they loved the rooms and the vibe as much as we did. We are already looking forward to calling out for lunch again and have our anniversary night here already penciled in. Thank you all so much, we really did have an amazing day we will never ever forget!!”
“Lovely place with delicious food. My friend brought her son and his friend there for a birthday treat to go for a pony trek. They loved it. While they were away we had a lovely lunch at the cafe that’s on site. I had my dog with me, so we had to sit outside. The only suggestion I would have is to include some heating eg patio heaters for outside dining specially given the Irish weather”
