Trinity College Dublin is one of our top MBA universities in Ireland for you to consider.

Right off the bat, we liked their state-of-the-art building. This is at the heart of Dublin’s thriving capital city, so we can say they’re highly accessible to many students.

Because of their rigorous 12-month programme, we also believe this university can help unlock most of the knowledge, skills, and network you need to achieve your goals.

We also like that they offer a part-time MBA and a flexible executive MBA so that more people can be accommodated.

And while it’s important that students be taught by expert international faculty and supported by a team of career and academic advisors, we also find it practical that their offerings go beyond the classroom.

Participants experience 3 live consulting projects with multinational corporations, small-medium businesses, and non-profit organisations. This, in our opinion, can help MBA students understand how the course works in the real world.

To apply, just note that there’s a €40 application fee. Moreover, there’s also a €1,500 non-refundable deposit upon acceptance of your slot.

But to ease your financial burden, students can pay the entire fee in September or in two instalments: September and January.

Should you be interested, you may reach out to Trinity College Dublin to learn more about their requirements and available scholarships.

If you’re unsure about your eligibility, we recommend submitting your CV and LinkedIn profile via their online contact form.

However, they may be unable to respond immediately. Their team told us it’s best to wait up to 2 days before sending a follow up.

Pros

  • Accessible in the middle of the city
  • Provides part-time and flexible MBAs
  • MBA class includes 3 live consulting projects
  • Allows students to pay in 2 instalments

Cons

  • Varying operating hours
  • Closed on Monday and Sunday

Another of our suggestions is the University of Dublin College of Business – they’ve been a top business school in Ireland for more than a century!

Notably, Ireland’s largest university is also UCD. We believe its accessibility and close proximity to Dublin’s city centre will likely appeal to the students.

They offer some of the best programmes for MBAs in Ireland, which can be done full-time or part-time (Modular Executive MBA).

We think the latter is great because it only occurs 2 days a month. Students can easily continue their education while concentrating on their current careers.

We’re amazed that it’s also one of the only few schools to be accredited with the ‘triple crown’ (UK): EQUIS (Europe), AACSB (US), and AMBA. This is somewhat rare, so this adds to their credibility for us.

Also, for more than 20 years, The Economist, Financial Times, and QS have all consistently ranked the college as one of the best in the world.

These accolades and affiliations, in our opinion, are signs of excellence and place the UCD College of Business among the top international business schools in the world.

They appear to provide a well-rounded MBA, too. Students learn from and work with top researchers and academics who prepare them to become influential business leaders around the world.

In our opinion, doing so pushes students to develop their decision-making abilities for professional careers and their capacity to have an impact beyond the realm of business.

Nevertheless, their tuition is €35,000 for full-time students and €17,500 for modular executive MBA students. This is slightly more expensive than the average MBA tuition in Ireland.

Also, the best way to reach them is via phone, since they don’t seem to have an email address for enquiries.

Pros

  • Biggest university in Ireland
  • Offers both full-time and part-time MBAs
  • Highly credible with rare recognitions
  • Their practical curriculum covers a lot

Cons

  • Varying operating hours
  • Closed on Monday and Sunday

We believe choosing the University of Galway for your MBA in Ireland is a wise choice. The institution has approximately 50 years of experience in MBA provision and is accredited by the International Association of MBAs.

They cover a lot of material in terms of the business principles you’ll need to understand as well. In fact, their more extensive MBA curriculum complements their 3 integrated learning experience pillars.

In addition to accounting, finance, management, and marketing, their MBA also covers team empowerment, business negotiations, lean principles, and multicultural appreciation, to name a few.

They use practical methods to further help the students learn, such as company-based consulting projects.

We also appreciate that they have small classes. This, in our view, enables fruitful instructor-student educational engagement.

Their adaptability is also greatly valued by us. If necessary, they can modify the application to meet your needs.

However, it’s best to know that they don’t provide a full-time MBA at this time.

The University of Galway’s programme doesn’t meet the criteria for applying for a visa to study in Ireland because it’s only offered part-time. In short, they can’t take applications from international students who need a study visa.

Pros

  • 5 decades of expertise
  • Well-rounded MBA course
  • Focuses on small groups
  • Helpful with the student application

Cons

  • Doesn’t offer a full-time MBA
  • Can’t accept international students who need a visa

Dublin City University, which is called the ‘University of Enterprise’ in Ireland, is always ranked as one of the best young universities in the world.

Not to mention, we commend that the DCU Business School’s Executive MBA Program is recognised by the AMBA, or the Association of MBAs.

Because of this, we believe the curriculum is trustworthy enough to help students transform both professionally and emotionally.

It aims to generate ambitious, entrepreneurial, and cutting-edge business executives. For us, this would help students apply their knowledge to produce real, lasting results for their organisations.

In our opinion, they also make the schedules easy to commit to. Their part-time DCU Executive MBA programme is taught 1 day a week over the course of 2 years and 4 semesters.

Students will gain knowledge of the variety of foundational disciplines and how they could support organisational success and business leadership during the first year.

The second year will then be distinguished by an integrated approach. This would be particularly focused on the important strategic drivers of sustainable growth and operational excellence.

In general, we believe they provide a good pace for students to fully understand the course.

But if you’re seeking a full-time MBA in Ireland, just know that they don’t provide one as of now. You may only take the part-time programme, scattered over a longer and more relaxed duration.

Pros

  • Many hair treatment solutions
  • Experienced in hair treatments
  • Updated hair treatment procedures
  • Detailed consultation

Cons

  • No full-time MBA available
  • Unavailable to answer questions on weekends

Griffith College is a great option for those who want to have an international business focus and are looking for a 1-year MBA in Ireland.

Their MBA in International Business Management programme seems to be an ideal path to a degree recognised globally. We think that many graduates will be fully prepared for the world of international business.

There are both full-time and part-time options for this programme, too. The experience, according to some of the students we spoke with, was very vocational, academically demanding, and intellectually challenging.

We also value the way they support cultural diversity. We believe that pupils would experience global education every time they were in class.

The prices also seem fair, in our opinion. Their fees, as we saw, are somewhat lower than Ireland’s average.

Still, it’s important to remember that they charge a €250 academic administration fee and a 2% learner protection fee per academic year.

Another thing we found interesting is the fact that Griffith College recognises the results of the online Duolingo English Test (DET) as sufficient evidence of English ability.

However, this is only a short-term intake measure that may change. Therefore, it’s best to periodically check their website for updates.

Pros

  • Their MBA specialises in International Business
  • Costs are more affordable than others
  • Places a high importance on diversity
  • Accepts Duolingo English Test (DET) results

Cons

  • Has extra charges per academic year
  • Their office opens a tad later on Sundays
