How We Chose The Best Divan Beds in Ireland [show]

Quality of Service: The divan bed companies should be on top of their game, dishing out top-notch service to keep customers satisfied throughout the purchase.
Location and Accessibility: We checked if the stores were easy to spot and get to, including the convenience of their parking spaces.
Store Layout, Style, and Vibe: Shops were picked based on their flow, decor game, and overall vibe for a pleasant shopping experience.
Product Selection: Speaking of the goods, we chose stores with the full package—diverse divan beds, furniture galore, and all the extras—to give customers enough options.

3 months in and it’s brilliant

“We are 3 months into the new mattress and delighted with our purchase. It’s alot of money for one object but we spend so much time sleeping and it can lead to so many problems if you don’t get a good night’s sleep so we took the plunge and invested. We got our mattress on sale which was a great price, delivery was really fast and it comes vacum packed so took the day to make sure it was expanded fully. Love that you have a 200 night return policy shows how much they trust their mattresses are worth the money you pay.”

Customer-focused and extremely helpful

“One of the best Companies I’ve dealt with in a very long time. They are really Customer Focused and extremely helpful. I had an issue with a Sofa which was of a minor nature and I contacted the Customer Service Department with my concern. From start to finish they went above being helpful and listened to my concerns at all times and the matter was concluded to my satisfaction within 3 Weeks. Now to me that is excellent Customer Service and during the Process I was updated on a very regular basis. I would certainly recommend Corcorans Furniture to my Friends and Family. One of the Best Furniture Stores I’ve dealt with in a very long time. The Quality of Goods in their Stores are of exceptional quality. And the Staff in the Store are trained to a very high Standard and are most helpful with Customers enquiries.”

Excellent support

“I cannot recommend their shop highly enough. As I would have to travel a few hours to their store and I was not sure of the colour of a timber table labled grey on the website, she took some photos and emailed them to me. She was fast and efficient and more than helpful in follow up emails. Excellent customer service.”

Almost 40 years ago, husband and wife Brendan and Louise O’Keeffe started their company, Homeline Furniture, over coffee. They had a vision to blend family business values with online accessibility.

As the saying goes, ‘it’s in the blood!’, and this holds true for Brendan. His working mindset began during his ‘push chair’ years, learning the ropes from his father’s furniture trade. Forging an unconventional path, he bypassed formal education, opting for hands-on experience and a keen focus on sales. Louise, armed with her interior design expertise, played a pivotal role in his journey!

In the present, the O’Keeffe duo operates beyond the confines of the traditional 9-to-5 model. They keep exploring new approaches and expanding their product offerings beyond furniture, featuring divan beds, kitchen bars, storage solutions, and more.

Three generations ago, the Caffrey family founded Caffreys Furniture when they started to design and craft home furniture. They focused on sofa upholstery in the 1970s and transitioned to mattresses in the 1980s.

Then comes the big leap into solid wood furniture like kitchen tables, chairs, and dressers, gaining them lots of popularity. Fast forward to the late 2000s, rough economic times hit. So they pivot to direct sales, popping open the first shop in Navan in 2009. More shops sprout up in Cavan, Dublin, Athlone (2021), and Dundalk (2022).

Today, Caffreys Furniture rocks 5 branches, offering a wide array of furniture, including divan beds, dining sets, sofas, and more, all available for nationwide delivery.

Caseys Furniture emerged back in the roaring ‘20s, becoming a cherished Irish furniture store for over a century now. John Casey kicked off this whole adventure, supplying locals with furniture after the burning of Cork.

Every order was handwritten until the mid-90s, and their furniture was sold in pounds, shillings, and pence. Upgrades came in 1988 with delivery vans, and in 2005, they went big with a swanky store in Limerick! Soon, they had a spot on the internet as in 2015. Then drumroll for 2020: their Limerick store nails the Retail Excellence Ireland National Home/Interiors Store of the Year award!

Now led by grandsons Peter and David, the Casey legacy thrives, bringing quality furniture, including sofas, mattresses, divan beds, and more, across Ireland.
