Three generations ago, the Caffrey family founded Caffreys Furniture when they started to design and craft home furniture. They focused on sofa upholstery in the 1970s and transitioned to mattresses in the 1980s.
Then comes the big leap into solid wood furniture like kitchen tables, chairs, and dressers, gaining them lots of popularity. Fast forward to the late 2000s, rough economic times hit. So they pivot to direct sales, popping open the first shop in Navan in 2009. More shops sprout up in Cavan, Dublin, Athlone (2021), and Dundalk (2022).

Caseys Furniture emerged back in the roaring ‘20s, becoming a cherished Irish furniture store for over a century now. John Casey kicked off this whole adventure, supplying locals with furniture after the burning of Cork.
Every order was handwritten until the mid-90s, and their furniture was sold in pounds, shillings, and pence. Upgrades came in 1988 with delivery vans, and in 2005, they went big with a swanky store in Limerick! Soon, they had a spot on the internet as Caseys.ie in 2015. Then drumroll for 2020: their Limerick store nails the Retail Excellence Ireland National Home/Interiors Store of the Year award!
