No matter the occasion, having custom T-shirts are a great way to get everyone in the spirit! So, if you’re on the lookout for the best places to print T-shirts in Dublin, you’re at the right place!

We’ve searched far and wide for the best stores that provide high-quality printed tees at a good rate. Aside from that, we also took a look at their turnaround time and customer service.

If you want to know more about our entries through our in-depth review, read on!

How much does T-shirt printing cost in Dublin?

If you’re wondering how much it’ll cost to have T-shirts printed, you most likely won’t be able to find a standard rate anywhere. This is because T-shirt printing is a personalized and custom service.

The charge for T-shirt printing depends on a number of factors. These include the type of garment, ink to be used, type of print, and so on.

Hence, most shops will only be able to give you a quote once you’ve discussed the specifications of your order.

Take note that some shops have a minimum order, too. We suggest thoroughly discussing all the nitty-gritty details with your potential suppliers beforehand.

The Best Places to Print T-shirts in Dublin

To ensure that each entry deserves a spot on our list, we’ve prepared the following criteria which we used during our selection process:

Types of print – So that you’re spoiled for choice, we eyed shops that could do a variety of prints such as water-based, discharged, plastisol, and so on.
Garment options – We eyed shops that let you choose shirts of different sizes and styles along with other garment options. It’ll be great if they have other apparel such as hoodies, hats, and more, too!
Turnover time – We looked at shops that could get your orders done quickly without sacrificing quality.
Further servicesWe considered those that offer shipping, bespoke packaging, tag printing, and other add-ons, whether paid or not, that set them apart from other entries

If expertise is part of your criteria, you may want to check out The T-Shirt Company. Founded in 2017, they quickly garnered international recognition for their printing services and for all good reasons.

Particularly, they’ve worked with big names such as Google, Airbnb, UNICEF Ireland, and more. If you’re interested to take a look at their portfolio, it’s up on their website.

With that said, you may be wondering how many printed T-shirts they can produce. They have 10 color automated carousels which allow them to print 4 shirts every second.

Big or small, they’ve got state-of-the-art equipment to keep up with the demand. So, order size shouldn’t be a cause for concern.

Speaking of printing, they offer water-based and discharge printing and plastisol printing. The former is a great option if you want the colors to exactly match Pantone colors.

Did we mention that they carry special inks? These inks give cool effects to your shirt’s print such as glow-in-the-dark ink, foil printing for some bling, neon, and even metallic.

We also think it’s worth highlighting that they offer oversized jumbo T-shirt printing, too. The shirt’s dimensions are 380mm x 600mm which encompasses the entire front side.

They also allow you to tag print your shirts. Hence, they make a viable option if you’re looking to sell apparel and have your brand printed on the clothing.

Aside from printing, they also offer embroidery. They have a beast of a machine that can embroider hats, shirts, and so on in a breeze.

As for garment options, The T-Shirt Company uses the clothes of Stanley Stella in their production. This is because Stanley Stella ethically produces their apparel, which is in line with what The T-Shirt Company stands for.

Oh, another thing worth mentioning is that they ship internationally, too. This is great if you’re looking to send these overseas, as they offer worldwide shipping through UPS.

Another addition to their services is bespoke packaging for their items. You can have these packages branded to add a little bit of spice to your products.

Pros

  • Wide selection of garment choices
  • Wide selection of print types
  • Offers international shipping
  • Offers bespoke packaging
  • Does embroidery

Work is always exemplary

“Tommy and his team at The T-Shirt Company are incredible!! Our company, Youth Theatre Ireland, has a long relationship with them, and the work is always exemplary. Even in the depths of the COVID crisis, they outdid themselves by turning around our order in just ***six*** days from receipt of order to date of delivery!! Unbelievable in light of the stock interruptions and delivery delays that Tommy had warned us about! Thanks so much to Tommy and the team for helping us make our first-ever online National Festival of Youth Theatres a great event for young people and youth theatre leaders all around the country!” – Shelley Troupe, Google Reviews

Process Print has been making embroidered and printed apparel, personalized gifts, and promotional merchandise since 1999.

They’re most popularly known for their workwear. This covers aprons, overalls, HI-VIS bomber jacket and vest, chef’s jacket, and so on.

Did we mention that they currently have a workwear bundle? For €150, you’ll get a variety of polo shirts, hoodies, a trouser, a jacket, and a beanie.

These are available in an array of colors and sizes. They can print or embroider your logo and company branding, too.

Speaking of print, they do DTG (direct to garment) printing, screen printing, pad printing, and sublimation printing. We appreciate the variety, as it gives you a ton of options to choose from.

If you’re looking for durable and precise prints, their screen printing is a good choice. Meanwhile, if you prefer dye transfer, you can opt for sublimation printing.

Did we mention they make made-to-measure shirts? This way, you can select the fabric yourself and have your shirt made to fit you perfectly.

We think it’s worth mentioning that they don’t have a minimum order. Hence, you can order as few or as many as you want!

Keep in mind that their turnover time is around five days. However, if you need it sooner than that, you can simply let them know.

Colours International has been in the industry for the last 20 years. They print on garments, bags, and even facemasks, so if you’re looking for a one-stop-shop, you may want to consider checking them out.

When it comes to printing, they either use screen print or heat-transfer print. While we would like to see more options, we think that the wide selection of items you can print on makes up for it.

For screen printing, they have a manual and automated process. Regardless of which process you opt for, the finish comes off vibrant and long-lasting.

As for their heat-transfer printing, we think this is a good option if you want a water-resistant print with a wax-like finish.

Aside from printing, they offer embroidery work, too. It’s understandably pricier than printing, but we think this is a great option if you want a classy and more professional look to your garments.

Did we mention that you can order online? We think this feature is pretty convenient considering you can make all the transactions without even leaving your house.

You can create an account on their website and select the kind of garment you want as well as the design placement, size, and so on.

Afterward, they’ll send you a free visual before printing to ensure that everything’s the way you want it. If it isn’t, they’ll do another one for free!

They don’t have a minimum order to boot. So, you can order as little or as many as you want.

Afterward, they’ll dispatch your order 10 days after they’ve begun production. This seems like quite a long wait, but this is actually pretty standard in the industry.

Even so, they offer overnight shipping for Ireland and three-day delivery for the UK and Europe via DPD. So, it may not be all that bad if we do say so ourselves.

On a brighter note, you can pay for your order online. They accept Mastercard, AMEX, Diners Club, Visa, and PayPal.

Pros

  • Wide selection of garment choices
  • Does embroidery
  • No minimum order
  • Online order available
  • Multiple payment options available

Cons

  • Closed on weekends

More than happy with the service

“I was more than happy with the service from Colours International. It was a fast turn around and very reasonably priced as I only wanted one T shirt printed. When I rang to inquire about timing the girl on the phone was very helpful and followed up with my order immediately. The collection of my item was also very efficient as delivery can be expensive so it was great to be able to avail of this option. I will definitely use this company again in the future and I highly recommend to others too. Thanks again. Maria” – Maria Quigley, Google Reviews

K Factory caught our eye because they carry a selection of eco-friendly products made from 100% organic cotton. These include clothing, lanyards, bags, and more.

You can have your designs printed on these eco-friendly options. We think this is a great way to contribute to decreasing microfiber pollution.

Speaking of printing, they can do screen printing and heat-transfer printing on shirts, hoodies, fleeces, sportswear, workwear, and more.

Through screen printing, you’re given brightly colored textiles, as each layer is colored individually. This also ensures that it won’t disappear or get ruined in the wash.

But here’s the hitch: their screen printing requires a minimum-sized order of at least 20 garments. Hence, if you’re looking to order less than that, you’ll have to go with their heat-transfer printing option.

Here, the printing will give you a wax-like finish since the designs are pressed onto the fabric. Heat-transfer printing is also known to provide better resolution for your print in comparison to screen printing.

Aside from printing, they also offer embroidery, too. Their high-precision embroidery can be done on sportswear, corporate clothing, and more.

Keep in mind that their minimum order for most services is 10 units. So if you’re planning to get less than that, K Factory may not be the best option for you.

To order, you can reach out to them via email with the details. Afterward, they’ll get back to you with a quote and a mockup.

Once everything’s settled, they’ll begin production and your item(s) will be ready within 7–10 days. You can choose to either collect it at their shop or have it delivered.

They do deliveries with DPD Ireland or The Wheels We Deliver. Since they don’t elaborate much on the shipping process, we suggest you get in touch for any inquiries.

They accept payments via cash as well as credit and debit cards, namely, Opayo, Master, Visa, Maestro, and Delta.

Pros

  • Wide selection of garment choices
  • Wide selection of print types (screen print, transfer, digital)
  • Offers international shipping
  • Offers bespoke packaging
  • Does embroidery in house
  • Can match Pantone colours
  • Multiple payment options available
  • No minimum order
  • Quick turnaround – approximately 5 working days for each order

Cons

  • Closed on weekends

With 25 years of industry experience, Robert Weir founded StitchBox. Here, they print and embroider a variety of apparel made from a wide selection of brands.

We like how customizable the options are, as you can choose garments made from Nike, AXQ, Adidas, and more. Apparel selection includes workwear, hoodies, tees, aprons, and more.

Zeroing in on their printing methods, they use screen printing and heat-transfer printing. Keep in mind that both require a minimum order of 10 units.

Screen printing is best if you want your colors to pop since the ink is thicker than that of digital printing. The colors will be even brighter and more vibrant on darker-colored shirts.

As for heat-transfer printing, they use heat to transfer the vinyl onto the fabric. Did we mention that they have glittery and fluorescent options, too?

We think this is great for dance costumes or if you want highly visible prints such as that used by guards and enforcers.

They can also match Pantone colors. Simply show them the reference, and they’ll take care of ensuring that the ink or thread is the exact same.

We also think it’s worth mentioning that you can mix and match garment colors and sizes at no additional cost! This is great if you’re ordering for different people, as each item will be according to their size and preference.

When it comes to their turnover time, they say that it depends on the order. If you need them to speed it up a bit, you can always let them know beforehand.

To add to their list of positives, you can easily order online by selecting the garment and then choosing to personalize it or buy it as is.

You can then have your items shipped directly to you as well as pay online. For payments, they accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, and PayPal.

Pros

  • Wide selection of garment choices
  • Does embroidery
  • Multiple payment options available
  • Open six days a week
  • Can match Pantone colors
  • Online order available

Cons

  • Minimum order of 10 units
