If you’re in the city centre, Park Rite is the best place to park your car. It’s near several commercial places so you won’t have a problem accessing the places you need to visit.

We love that it has several spaces for bicycles as well and not just for cars, which makes it pretty popular in the area. So if you’re bringing a bike, you can park here—it’s safe and free for bikes!

We also appreciate that it’s safe with several security cameras around. It’s also clean and well-lit so even if you park at night, you’ll feel pretty secure.

Speaking of overnight parking, Park Rite is available 24/7. Just make sure you check the rates for night parking because it differs from day parking.

It can be a busy car park, but customers we talked to say they can always find a spot easily regardless of the time of day. This means it has lots of space for everyone, which can be pretty convenient.

Some customers also talked about how easy the payment system was. Both cash and card payments are available so you don’t have to worry about not having notes with you.

The only disadvantage we see is that it can be quite pricey for some as it starts at €4 per hour. It also charges extra on weekends so make sure you clarify the rates before parking.

Easy payment system

4e an hour parking. Easy to enter and exit. Payment Cash & Card accepted. Gaiety nearby. Grafton Street is a short walk. St.Stephens Green S.C. and pubs to try. Outside seating at most pubs & food served. 24-hour security in the car park. Well worth parking here.— Patrick Barr, Google Reviews

Easy to find an available spot

This is my favourite place to park when I have to go to the city centre. It’s a busy car park but I’ve always been able to get a spot easily. My tip is to just go all the way up to the roof where you will have loads of spaces to choose from! There is a lift to take you to ground level. I have never had any issues with bringing my dogs into the lifts or foyer of this car park. The machines where you pay are in a clean, well-lit foyer. They take coins, notes or cards. I was unable to pay using my phone though.—Rachel, Google Reviews

What we love about Moore Lane Car Park is that it’s accessible to everyone. Located in a prime street, anyone who needs instant parking can easily see it.

It’s a covered parking lot and it’s well-maintained, with plenty of staff around to help you find a parking spot if you need it. We love that they’re very friendly and accommodating as well, which somehow ensures that they’ll be looking after your cars properly.

There are cameras around which adds to the safety measures of the spot. It’s also well-lit, which is a good thing, and has parking spots for PWDs.

Rates-wise, it’s one of the most affordable car parks in the city. So if you’re staying in the area for a long time, we advise visiting this car park.

Another thing we love is that it also has an easy payment system. Whether you’ll pay by cash or by card, you won’t have any problems at all!

Moore Lane Car Park is open 24/7, so if you need overnight parking, it’s also a good place to check out. Just a little heads up that it doesn’t have a lot of space so you might need to come early to make sure you’ll have a spot.

It also might not be for overly large vehicles. While a slot can still accommodate SUVs, it can be a little tight.

Friendly park attendants

We always park here on a Saturday when we’re going to buy our meat, fruit and veg. It’s a good car park with friendly staff. If you are visiting the Moore Street battle site this is the place to park. The rates are very good. I left one of my crutches by accident in the car park and the staff kept it for me. I was delighted as I thought it would be gone. Decent honest staff. Moore Street has so much history attached to it so please go and visit the site of the 1916 battle. It’s worth signing the petition to save this street, we need to keep our history.—Alana Wilson, Google Reviews

Only €20 to park 2 metres tall 8 seater vehicle ALL day… In the centre of Dublin. Very friendly and helpful staff. Underground sheltered too.—Neil Kirkpatrick, Google Reviews

It’s well-lit as well, so even if it’s open 24/7, you’ll feel safe roaming around the parking space. In addition to this, Q-Park St. Stephens Green is clean and well-maintained as well.

If you want to make sure you have a slot, you can book VIP spaces online. Just a little heads-up though—during peak seasons, even if you book a VIP, your slot might not be available the same day.

It can also be frustrating to wait for a long time while exiting the car park during peak hours. Some customers we talked to complained about waiting for 30 minutes just to leave because of the long line.

  • Has parking for disabled people
  • Has electric charging points for electric cars

Secure and safe

Great car park, open 24 hours, very well maintained, saw security doing their rounds—Brendan Walshi, Google Reviews

Easy access to several places

Always space, great location, prices are on the high side but it is city centre and it is a prime location. Easy access to Grafton Street, St Stephens Green and the Gaiety Theatre. Luas stop and bus stop nearby as well. Slightly narrow entrance and exit but have always used it and will continue to use it. The easy trip also works flawlessly so you never need to take a ticket, it’s just drive in and drive out.—Kesendran Govender, Google Reviews

Pros

  • Has handicap spaces
  • Has bike parking
  • Affordable
  • Has CCTVs in place
  • Accessible

Cons

  • Hassle payment system
  • Not enough lighting

Customer Reviews

Cheap parking space

Cheap lot where you can park overnight. There’s a QR code on signs near the entrance. You can use the code to pay by card online. I got in around 10 am on a Wednesday, and there were still a few available spots. Workers were buzzing around the lot all night looking for cars to boot. So, make sure you pay, even if parking for a brief period—Job Google Reviews

Accessible

Not far from Connolly train station is the Connolly Station Car Park. If you park here, it’s best to look for a QR code for payment and then park for 24 hours for 9.50 euros. A little hint! Even if the payment appears to be cancelled, check first whether a debit has actually occurred. Otherwise, you’d be happy to pay twice.—Thomas Rappl, Google Reviews

Among the parking spaces on our list, Car Park Trinity Street is the only one not available 24/7. However, we still included it in the list because it’s open until late at night and is available from Monday to Sunday.

One of the advantages of Car Park Trinity according to its regular patrons is its accessibility. It’s located in the city centre, so it’s near several commercial areas where you can shop and dine.

There are plenty of car spaces as well. Even if you don’t arrive early in the morning, it’ll still be easy to find a space for your car.

Just be a little careful though—the spaces are quite tight. If you have a large vehicle, you might have a hard time manoeuvring your cars.

Security-wise, there are personnel roaming around so you’re assured that your cars are being looked after. There are also cameras around to add to your peace of mind.

The rates for the parking lot are quite expensive as well, which can be bothersome to those who don’t like paying too fuck for parking. However, it’s not so expensive that you’ll feel like it’s being unreasonable.

We think it needs more maintenance though. Some customers are complaining that the lift isn’t always working, making them climb up or down the stairs, which is convenient most especially if you’re carrying a lot of bags.

Pros

  • City centre
  • Plenty of parking spaces
  • Near shopping areas
  • Access to a bar on the 5th floor
  • Accommodating staff
  • With cameras around

Cons

  • Pre-booking is expensive
  • Lift is not always working

Prime location

Great place to park if you are in town, not too expensive but not cheap either. It is smack in the middle of everything and we have always been able to find a spot. However some of the spots are a bit too tight, so don’t drive in there if you have a car resembling a Humvee—Line Hansen, Google Reviews

Ideal for shopping

Centrally located in the city centre, with all amenities a short walk away. Ideal for shopping or working.—Marc B, Google Reviews
