As their name suggests, they specialize in an array Thai massages, from traditional Thai oil massage to hot stone massage which can last from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

It’s important to highlight that all their masseuses are trained Thai massage therapists from Thailand. Hence, they’re a good choice if you’re looking to get an authentic Thai experience.

We also think it’s worth noting that their massage tables are larger than average. Meaning, you’ll have enough room to fully relax and not have to worry about falling over.

This is also a bonus if you’re availing of their pregnancy massage.

Did we also mention they use unscented oils and Tiger Balm? This is great if you’re sensitive to smells.

Before your session, their massage therapist will ask you a few questions regarding your medical history. This is just so they’re aware of any injuries or allergies you may have.

We appreciate that you can pay in cash or via credit card. You can easily pay online via PayPal, PayPal Credit, Visa Card, MasterCard, AMEX, and even Discovery.

If you’re booking an appointment for 2 or more people, you’ll have to pay a 50% deposit first. Keep in mind that this is non-refundable if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment.

We like that you can easily book a massage online. However, take note that you’ll have to wait for their confirmation email first.

Since their a frequented massage spa, they easily get fully booked. This is why we highly recommend booking in advance.

Even so, they’re open as late as 8PM which is great if you need to unwind after work.

So thorough and really worked on various knots I had

“This is my first time going to Thai Massage Dublin and let me tell you it was the best message I’ve ever got.. Noy was the name of my therapist and she was so through and really worked on various knots I had in my back until they were gone. The whole massage from start to finish was amazing and Noy was professional and knew what she was doing. I will definitely be going back based on this experience and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great massage” – Lorraine Mullane, Google Reviews

This place has magic

“This place has magic. This is absolutely a place in Dublin if you wanna relax those tension areas of your body. Staff are very professional. They explained the therapy well, preliminary questions were asked about my health history. The staff communicated very well. Loved it. Would strongly recommend this place for a good massage. They take only cash, cards not accepted” – Steffi Jenifer, Google Reviews

The Buff Day Spa is a multi-awarded all-in-one spa that offers various face, beauty, and body treatments as well as a variety of massages.

Their treatments range from area-specific to full-body massages lasting 30 to 90 minutes depending on your needs.

Before your session, their massage therapist will ask you a few questions regarding your medical history and massage preferences.

This is so they know if there are certain areas they should avoid and where to exert more pressure.

If you aren’t ready to leave yet after the session, you can unwind some more in their Relaxation Area and Tranquility Room without any additional fees! How cool is that?

But here’s the hitch: they’re on the pricier side. So if you’re on a budget, you may want to look at our other recommendations on this list.

We appreciate their various payment options. You can conveniently pay online via PayPal, Mastercard, VISA, and VISA Debit.

Did we mention they also have a ton of special offers and discounts? They have €10 off with their Newsletter Discount and Referral Programme to name a few.

On top of that, they even have coupons that are valid for up to 5 years! Make sure to read the fine print, though.

Since they’re pretty popular, we highly recommend booking in advance to secure an appointment. You can easily book a slot via their website.

Do keep in mind that their business hours fluctuate which we think can be quite confusing. Even so, they’re open quite late on some days so you’ll just have to double-check.

Muscles feel relaxed from the massage

“Great place! I had facial and back massage with Jennifer! It was great! Even after 2 days my back muscles feel relaxed from the massage, and my skin feels great. Definitely will go back and try Jennifer hot stone massage. They are very nice and friendly. I used a voucher from Buyagift which did not appear on time in their  system and they handle it very gracefully.” – Behnaz CH, Google Reviews

I always feel much better afterwards, lighter and less stressed, and extremely relaxed

“I really enjoyed my latest massage. I’ve visited the spa 3 times, and each time is as splendid as before. Professional massages, my masseuse always asks me what areas of concern I have on my body and if there’s a specific spot I’d like her to focus on; and asks about the level of pressure before and during the massage. I always feel much better afterwards, lighter and less stressed, and extremely relaxed. It’s hard not to fully fall asleep during a massage at The Buff Day Spa! I have also experienced a facial and salt scrub, both of which were really heavenly and left my skin feeling super smooth.” – Nirina Plunkett, Google Reviews

Founded by renowned esthetician Araya Fitzgerald, Araya Beauty offers signature facial spas, body clinics, and massage spa.

This makes them a good option if you’re looking for a one-stop shop. Say, you could have a mani-pedi done then top it off with a relaxing massage.

Their team of fully-qualified massage therapists can do an array of massages, from gentle Thai massages to intensive deep tissue massage.

They can even do prenatal massages, too. According to those that have tried this, it definitely helps with relieving the deep tension in their muscles and helped with their mobility.

Their website explains what’ll happen before and during your sessions as well as their benefits. We recommend checking this out so you’re aware of what’s in store for you.

Booking an appointment can be done on their website. Their form will even show you a summary of your schedule and bill.

However, they don’t seem to have any online payment options available. Hence, we suggest giving them a call if you’re particular with your payment methods.

Hit all the right spots

“Had the most amazing prenatal massage today with Erika. She hit all the right spots and it’s 75mins long so you can fully emmerse into the relaxation of it. I have always found the massage here one of the best and very good value! I find most prenatal massages too soft, this was just the right amount of pressure needed. I will be back again soon” – Alyson Murphy, Google Reviews

[They] root out all the tension that builds up

“This is hands down, the most professional salon I’ve ever been to. I’ve been getting my brows shaped and tinted for years in various places… But the level of perfection that Araya’s wonderful staff put into their work is like nothing I’ve experienced anywhere else. Two different girls have provided this treatment for me and they were both fantastic. I won’t be going anywhere else from now on! I’ve also had deep tissue massages here which are DEEP but they need to be to root out all the tension that builds up from sitting in an office all day. They’ve a massive range of treatments and I’m sure I’ll end up treating myself to quite a few more of them!” – Michaela Simpson, Google Reviews

A multi-award-winning spa and clinic located only 15 minutes away from the city center, Oasis Beauty offers a wide variety of skin treatments and massage therapies.

On top of that, they have a ton of discounts and special promos that we recommend you look out for. Relaxing Thursdays have 15% off on their manual lymphatic drainage and massages to name a few!

If you’re unsure of what treatment to get, their website has short videos to show you exactly what they do. We recommend going through these to get a glimpse of what it’ll be like.

You can easily book online via their website. Do keep in mind that you’ll need to pay a 50% deposit to secure your booking.

If you’re going to use your voucher, you’ll have to book via call or email. We think this is a bit inconvenient though.

On the brighter side, you can book more than 1 massage treatment which is great especially if you’re in dire need of relief. We think they definitely deserve brownie points for this!

The Bodywise Clinic is a multi-awarded clinic specializes in a variety of massage therapies such as deep tissue, sports, lymphatic drainage, and even prenatal massages to name a few.

We appreciate this wide variety since you can opt to get a massage based on the pressure you need.

We think it’s worth mentioning that their services are done by registered therapists. You can even request a specific therapist, too!

On top of that, if you need a health insurance receipt, they can arrange for a therapist registered with an Association for you. However, this only applies to their reflexology massage.

On a brighter note, they’re recognized by a majority of Irish health insurers. Just make sure to check your policies to ensure that they’re covered before reserving a slot.

Speaking of which, you can do just that on their website. However, this doesn’t guarantee a slot just yet.

Because of their popularity, it may be difficult to schedule an appointment. We recommend doing it in advance to raise your chances.

They’ve received numerous awards from TripAdvisor as a clinic loved by locals and tourists alike.

We also think it’s worth mentioning that they have a variety of discounts if you come in groups. We think this is a great way to relax and bond.

If you’re a newbie, you’ll need to come in at least 10 minutes earlier than your schedule. This is so that you can fill up their Consultation Form and have a short chat regarding your medical history.

On the other hand, if you’re late, you’ll still be charged the entire amount even if you don’t use up the entire scheduled duration.

Also, keep in mind that their clinic is located on the 2nd floor of a building without a lift. However, you can request assistance from them if you’re having trouble getting up the flights of stairs.

Pros

  • Recognized by most major Irish Health Insurance Companies
  • Open daily and until late
  • Therapist requests available
  • Offers gift vouchers, discounts, and special offers
  • Multi-awarded clinic

Cons

  • Fluctuating business hours
  • Offers health insurance receipt only for reflexology massage
  • Building has no lift

Customer Reviews

I went home like a new person

“I usually enjoy a good massage but here it was even better. We talked about my pain and when it came to the small hard knots in my back, she gave enough pressure but it did not hurt as bad as i experienced it in the past with other studios. So in the end i went home like a new person! Directly booked the 3x package :)” – Anika Hohensee, Google Reviews

Will absolutely be returning in the future

“Was very easy to schedule an appointment for a badly needed Deep Tissue massage. Bodywise did not disappoint. My therapist consulted with me before starting about what I wanted to get out of my session and what depth of massage I could tolerate and then continued to check in with me during the massage. She then recommended other therapies I could try to decrease the muscle tension I had experienced. Will absolutely be returning in the future.” – Megan Kuhtreiber, Google Reviews
