3 Spots for Karting Near Dublin Where Your Inner Speed Demon Can Come Out to Play

I’ve been a big Formula 1 fan for years. I love watching the races, the speed, the noise, and the close battles on track. I always wondered what it would feel like to drive like that — fast, focused, and a little wild. That’s why I decided to try karting in Dublin.

The first time I got in a kart, I felt like a real racer… for about five seconds, until I took a corner too fast and spun out. But I couldn’t stop smiling. Karting in Dublin is the closest thing to F1 fun without leaving the city.

If you love racing or just want to try something exciting with friends, these are the 3 best spots to check out.

Kylemore Karting is one of the best indoor karting spots in and around Dublin.  It’s an indoor karting track in Ballyfermot that has been around for over 25 years. They have fast go-karts, cool tracks with bridges and turns, and a helpful and friendly team.

You can race with friends, coworkers, or family. There are three different tracks to try, each one with its own twists and hills. Kids who are taller than 137 cm can also join using special junior karts!

One of the best things about Kylemore Karting is how safe and well-run it is. When you arrive, you get a short safety talk and clean racing gear. The staff are always around to help if you get stuck or spin out.

After racing, you also get a score sheet with your lap times to see how you did compared to others!

Pro Tip:

Wear comfy clothes like long pants, a t-shirt, and closed shoes—skip the shorts or skirts. Since you’ll be moving a lot and wearing a helmet, it’s best to dress for safety and comfort.
