Best 4 Airbnb Ireland Party Houses to Rent
It’s not a surprise that Ireland has a lot of vacation houses that can be rented for special occasions. The country is so beautiful that the best Airbnb Ireland party houses are located in stunning areas that have nature as the backdrop.
In this article, we’ll be listing down those places and what they can offer. So if you’re looking for such venues, you’re on the right page!
So let’s start before these places get fully booked!
Cost of Airbnb Ireland Party Houses Rental
Ireland’s Airbnb rentals depend on several factors such as location, amenities, purpose, and of course, the number of people. We recommend checking out the house from their Airbnb listings directly so you can inquire about more information from the hosts.
You have to understand that Airbnb generally doesn’t allow DISRUPTIVE parties. So you have to make sure you disclose everything to the host about what type of party you’ll be holding so they can tell you about the limitations.
To give you an idea, on average, overnight rental of an Airbnb house starts at around €300 per night. This can go as high as €2,100 per night depending on the package inclusions like food, decorations, and other requests you might have.

Inclusions and limitations | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
Professionalism of the host | ★★★★★ (5/5) |
Rock Farm Slane (The Lime House) is one interesting house perfect to rent for small gatherings. Why did we say interesting—well, its previous inhabitants might be escaped circus clowns, but whether or not it’s true, we think the place is worth checking out!
For one, the place is just 45 minutes away from Dublin airport. The hosts can also pick you up from the Collins Coach coming from Dublin.
Second, it’s surrounded by greenery, with a great view of the Slane Castle. The Slane village is also nearby, so you can explore the village as well if you have the time!
Like all Airbnb rentals, disruptive parties are prohibited, but you can host regular BBQ parties or even karaoke for your group. Just tell the hosts and they’ll give you the rules which you should follow.
The Lime House is very clean and very spacious! The rooms are comfortable and large as well, with all the amenities you need.
Speaking of amenities, you can definitely cook in this place! The kitchen has everything you need—we think you can find all types of cooking utensils here!
The hosts themselves were amazing, by the way. They’re very responsive to calls and inquiries, and also have the best recommendations in terms of food and other activities you can do.
The only complaints we heard from guests are—one, there are creaky floorboards, which, if you have a wide imagination, can be an interesting story. And two, there’s a faint mildew smell that doesn’t seem to go away.

Perfect for a small group
Just back from a 4-day stay in the Lime House at Rock Farm, with 11 adults + 2 kids. Accommodation was excellent, the large living/dining space was fantastic and the kitchen well stocked with basics (tea/coffee etc.) with pots/pans/cutlery/glasses/cups – everything you’d need. Bedroom accommodation was really good, and the whole house was very clean. Carina and Rachel were great at keeping in touch prior to arrival and provided lots of great information and tips on local attractions, restaurants, pubs etc. Would totally recommend it and will definitely be back!—Michael, Airbnb Reviews
Private and spacious
Carina’s Lime House accommodation has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful escape away with a large bunch of friends or family. the house is private and very comfortable, cosy and spacious. Within walking distance of Slane village and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment and plates etc. The host was very easy to deal with also and gave me plenty of information and recommendations about the amenities in the local area. We loved our stay and look forward to returning in the future.— Lorraine, Airbnb Reviews
2. Caragh Lake House
Reviews and reputation | ★★★★★ (5/5) |
Distance and location | ★★★★★ (5/5) |
Inclusions and limitations | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
Professionalism of the host | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
Caragh Lake House is a lovely lakefront house. If you’re celebrating a wedding anniversary or an intimate family party, this is the best place for you!
The lake house, for one, is very lovely and very intimate, away from the usual busy streets. You can also decorate it based on the occasion, and the hosts can even recommend local suppliers for flowers and other decorations.
There are several activities your family or friends will enjoy without causing noise. Some of these activities are swimming, canoeing, hiking, boating, fishing, cycling, and even golfing.
The lake house is also a few minutes away from Killorglin, a market town, where you can get provisions if you want to host a dinner or a barbecue party. There are also pubs and restaurants in town if you want to eat out!
The hosts are lovely and are very responsive to your inquiries. You can also ask them for recommendations regarding some activities you might want to try, and they can help you achieve them.
We love that the house itself is a comfort of its own. Very clean and very spacious, most especially the common rooms, so you’ll instantly feel at home with it.
It’s also very accessible—just 30 minutes away from Kerry Airport. We recommend bringing a car though so you can explore the nearby attractions yourselves.
Probably the only thing that could turn you off is one, the wifi might not work, so we suggest bringing a backup or you can use your mobile provider. Second, the check-in is a little late, so if your flight’s early, you need to wait for a bit.
Pros

- 30 minutes from Kerry Airport

Large and clean
Beautiful, large, clean home. Plenty of space to spread out or gather together. Jens and Michelle have thought of everything. We would gladly stay at their home again and again.—Ann, Airbnb Reviews
A good venue for a small party or family gatherings
We were allowed to spend a few days with friends, family and our children in this beautiful house. Celebrate the 50th anniversary and renew our marriage promise after 20 years. We all think back to these unforgettable days with gratitude and love. Jens and Michelle are absolutely gigantic hosts and people. Have always and immediately helped, gave tips and provided us with their beautiful house. We will be grateful for this forever! And come back again, for sure!—Andre, Airbnb Reviews
3. Ballintubbert House
Reviews and reputation | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
Distance and location | ★★★★★ (5/5) |
Inclusions and limitations | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
Professionalism of the host | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
Stepping inside the area where Ballintubbert House is located is like stepping inside a Studio Ghibli movie. Surrounded by 14 acres of ornamental gardens, we think you’ll feel like you’re inside an animated story that just came to life!
We’re not exaggerating. Some of the previous guests we talked to told us that finding out about the place was surprising to them because it’s very rural yet it’s just an hour away from Dublin’s busy city centre!
The place is also peaceful with no outside noise to interfere. It’s perfect for parties like weddings or birthday parties—you can decorate the place however you want to!
The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. You can ask for anything in advance and they make sure they’ll prepare them for you!
We love that the interior of the house is as picturesque as the exterior and its surroundings. The house is luxurious and very clean—we can describe it as modern Victorian.
But here’s the best part—it has a subterranean disco room where you can play loud music. It means you can add a little fun to your gatherings without disrupting anyone with the noise—again, Airbnb is against DISRUPTIVE noise only!
While this isn’t exactly a major inconvenience, one downside we see is that you need a car to access it. Commuting might be a hassle since it’s a very private place.
Also, the lower floors are colder than the upper floors. So if it’s during the colder months, it might not be that comfortable for some who don’t like the cold.
Pros
- An hour and a half away from Dublin city centre
- Near a lake
- Surrounded by greenery
- Luxurious house
- Ideal for small family gatherings and intimate birthday or wedding parties
- Subterranean disco room where you can play loud music
- Cosy bedrooms
- Clean and spacious
- 14 acres of ornamental gardens
Cons
- Car is needed
- Cold on the lower floors

Luxurious house
Ballintubbert House and Gardens are simply stunning and surpassed all of our expectations. The house is so luxurious and comfortable and the grounds are just beautiful with lots to explore. Jackie our host couldn’t have been more helpful. We had the best time there celebrating a 40th birthday. Looking forward to returning to this fabulous place in the future.—Grace, Airbnb Reviews
Welcoming hosts
Jackie is a tremendous host. We were made feel very welcome in her beautiful home. Jackie spent lots of time making us familiar with the home and all the fixtures and fittings. The grounds are beautiful and you could easily spend a day exploring them alone. The house is conveniently located near towns such as athy, stradbally and portlaoise. Would highly recommend this house for your stay.—Cormac, Airbnb Reviews
4. Belfast Home
Reviews and reputation | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
Distance and location | ★★★★★ (5/5) |
Inclusions and limitations | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
Professionalism of the host | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
This Belfast Home has some more restrictions than other Airbnb party houses because it’s in a residential area. However, the host is very accommodating, and always tries to make your stay as smooth as possible!
The Belfast home is perfect for hen parties and birthdays more than large gatherings. You’re allowed to have loud music, but you should turn it off before 11:00 PM—this is out of respect to the other residents in the neighbourhood.
We love that the house is full of modern amenities which you can use as well. It’s also very cosy and very clean, with the bedrooms and common rooms spacious enough to host small parties.
Another advantage some guests we talked to love, is that it has a good wifi connection. Also, the place is just 9 minutes away from Belfast city centre so you can easily get provisions if you need to!
The house itself is very nicely decorated—with artwork hanging around everywhere. You can decorate it for your party, just make sure to tell the hosts your plans so they can tell you the limitations.
One downside is that because it’s located in a residential area, picturesque views are limited. So don’t expect super Instagrammable pictures for your feed–there are no such special views.
Also, for the same reason that it’s in a residential area, it’s not ideal for noisy parties. Loud music shouldn’t be heard after 11:00 PM, and the outdoor area as well is prohibited after midnight out of respect to the neighbours.
Pros
- 9 minutes away from Belfast city centre
- Private
- Has a good wifi connection
- Has a lot of modern appliances
- Near Belfast castle
- Cabs and buses are available
- Accommodating hosts
- Perfect for hen parties
- Interesting artwork
Cons
- Outdoor area is prohibited after midnight
- No loud music after 11:00 PM
- Limited picturesque views

Perfect for hen parties
We stayed at Marks for a hen do and it was exactly what we were looking for. Mark couldn’t of been more helpful if he tried. Anything we needed he would be round in minutes. He gave us a taxi number for a guy called Mick to take us too and from the airport and he was also great. The house was about 15-20 minute taxi ride from the centre and was in a quiet location. We would 100% stay here again.—Katie, Airbnb Reviews
Great value for money
Unbelievable Airbnb experience. A big group of us went up for a birthday and it was truly the most amazing setup. Beautiful, modern, fully equipped house with everything you need. Very unique and a bargain for the cost compared to most airbnbs for 10 people. Loved the fireplace and the living room. Would recommend this Airbnb to anyone heading up to Belfast even in a smaller group.—Ellen, Airbnb Reviews
