The 5 Best Golf Coaches in Dublin to Teach You How to Swing like a Pro!

When I first started golfing, I just did what my dad and YouTube told me to. Unsurprisingly, I developed bad habits, like a rigid stance, a too tight grip on the club, and terrible driving overall.

That is, until I finally took a golf lesson from an actual professional who knows what to say and how to spot bad habits. It took me a couple of sessions, but all were worth it.

I’m no Rory McIlroy, but I’m not terrible at it, thanks to my golf coach. So, if you want to aim high, we’ve got a list of Dublin’s best, who will teach you how to elevate your game with every stroke!

How We Chose the Best Golf Coaches in Dublin

Qualifications: To make sure you receive proper techniques and advice, having a highly qualified, preferably PGA-certified (Professional Golfers’ Association), instructor with in-depth knowledge is essential.
Lesson Quality: Being top-notch in golf doesn’t necessarily mean you know how to teach. They need to tailor their approach since coaching isn’t cookie-cutter, to ensure they can show proper techniques and help avoid bad habits.
Technology: Utilising new technology can result in better accuracy, as it provides real-time data on swings, ball speed, angles, and body motion.
Availability: A quick-to-book coaching lesson results in better accessibility for everyone in Dublin.
Rates: The coaching lesson must align with the pricing based on the golf coach’s quality of teaching, track record, and qualifications.

An absolutely brilliant addition to Sandyford

“An absolutely brilliant addition to Sandyford. Love playing in the simulators throughout the winter. Monday night league competitions are great. More recently did a putting lesson with David Kearney. A 1 hour session, using technology to analyse my stroke and patterns, followed by a lesson and drills to correct the very many faults. A true wizard when it comes to putting, and can’t thank him enough for making it so understandable. Bonus hat tip: Their coffee is well worth a try… in truth I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it is!”

-Keith Henry, Google Review
