If you’re looking for a traditional barber shop in Cork, Tom Winters barbers are a cut above the rest with experienced barbers who ensure a truly relaxing experience.

Upon stepping inside, we immediately fell in love with its vintage feel having brick and wood as the main elements of its interior. When you come to their shop, it feels like you’re not just getting a haircut as they offer a total pampering experience.

We’d like to commend one of their barbers, Lorenzo. What makes him stand out is not just his technical proficiency, but his ability to understand exactly what his clients want, even when they have difficulty expressing it themselves.

We haven’t gotten the chance to get an appointment with Stephen, who’s also the owner, but we’ve also heard high praises from other customers.

If you’re planning on visiting them, take note that it’s by appointment only and walk-ins aren’t allowed. Good thing their online booking is very convenient.

Apart from the traditional haircut and styling, you can also get a package including beard trim or hot towel shave, or both.

Given the quality of their service, expect pricing to be higher than average at €40 for haircut and styling. Additionally, due to their popularity, bookings easily fill up as well.

Fantastic barbers! From the online booking through to leaving the place, the experience was nothing less than 1st class. Very friendly staff, Luke did a brilliant job on 10 yr old’s hair, who wanted to keep it plenty of length. Lots of chat and banter (and patience) throughout. I would highly recommend, we’ll definitely be back. – Clare Cahill, Google Reviews

Sunday, 10am - 5pm

Karizma Authentic Turkish Barber Shop brings a genuine slice of Turkish grooming culture to Cork. They offer traditional services that go beyond the standard barbershop experience.

Their strongest quality is their comprehensive approach to men’s grooming, incorporating authentic Turkish barbering techniques.

Beyond basic haircuts, they also offer traditional hot towel treatments, precise beard sculpting, and the trademark Turkish attention to detail in facial grooming.

We were impressed by the barbers’ exceptional skills with both scissors and razors, delivering consistently high-quality results that have earned them a loyal customer base.

It’s great to see that the shop maintains high standards of cleanliness, with tools being sanitized between clients and workstations kept immaculate throughout the day.

When it comes to pricing, we found them a bit expensive but still reasonable considering the level of service and attention to detail provided.

Finally, there are just a few drawbacks worth mentioning. First, the popularity of the shop means that appointments can be hard to come by, especially during peak hours; and although walk-ins are welcome, wait times can be lengthy.

Also, some customers shared that service seems a bit rushed during busy periods. This might be isolated cases, but we recommend visiting during non-peak hours to avoid a crowded shop.

Pros

  • Offers high quality Turkish barbering techniques
  • Clean and well-maintained tools and workstations
  • Open daily
  • Appointments and walk-ins are welcome

Cons

  • Pricing is a bit steep
  • Service seems a bit rushed during peak times

Customer Reviews

Hasan & his team do an excellent job. I’ve been going to Karizma Turkish barbers for many years now & wouldn’t go anywhere else. I highly recommend this to any man looking for a great haircut & shave. – Aidan Moloney, Google Reviews

One of the best barber shops in the city. I’ve had haircuts and beard trims from several of the guys / lady in there – always a good job. The main thing that I’ve noticed about this crew is that they sit you in the chair and listen to you about what you want and don’t begin cutting until you are satisfied that they understand what you want them to do. A lot of barbers in Cork start snipping before your ass hits the seat. – Dave O’Driscoll, Google Reviews
